The Fox and the Hound is cute, heartwarming, and is one of the more tear
jerking film Disney has ever made. The second half especially is pretty
dark, especially for Disney. Two friends pitted against each other in a
fight for survival, an epic battle with a bear (superbly animated), and
the soul crushing scene where Widow Tweed releases Tod (the fox) into
the wild. Heartbreaking. Still a good movie, though it might be a bit
much, especially at the end, for young ones.
